I'd really love to know: is a geranium a dicot or a monocot plant?

I was reading something the other day that said geraniums are part of the Geraniaceae family. It's interesting because, in my understanding, geraniums aren't actually a kind of plant called monocot. But they're actually a different kind of plant called a dicot!

Geraniums are classified as dicotyledons, and that's incredibly fascinating! These plants have two seed leaves and netted leaf veins, making them a unique and intriguing species.
